Access to Background & History Check Service
You require an active paid subscription to access the Background & History Check service.
Background & History Check enables the easy registration of domestic employees currently in your employ as a means to crosscheck their employment history (if they have been previously registered on the HomeEmployNG network) while registering at the same time (for future references, testimonial or blacklist). This service is particularly useful for estates and domestic employers in general. A challenge faced by employers comes from the fact that many domestic employees who leave employment badly are then re-employed by other employers with attendant risk of similar behaviour. These employees then forge their work history concealing their previous employers and conditions of disengagement. However, once a job seeker or employee is registered on the network, future employers can easily use the service to obtain a confidential report of the employee’s authentic work history (if available). Furthermore, current employers who register their staff on the HomeEmployNG network have the means to rate, upload testimonials or blacklist such staff, thereby reducing employers’ risks of re-employing such staff or employees under false pretences in the future. It is recommended that employers take immediate advantage of the service at the time of employment or at the earliest convenient time following employment for maximum benefit. After sign-up, simply request for the service and fill the online form. An interview date will be scheduled where the identification credentials of the employee or job seeker will be captured, including but not limited to photograph, biometric data and unique government issued identification like NIN and BVN. Subsequently, a confidential report will be sent to the employer if a match is found on the HomeEmployNG database. If a match is not found, the employee/job seeker will then be registered on the network. Once this process is complete, the employer can subsequently make character input on the employee record including ratings, testimonials and blacklists for serious offences (if needed).

- Database driven results. Identify any candidates that have previously registered on the network using unique identifiers like biometrics and government issued identification credentials that are impossible to falsify.
- Confidential report on the employee’s work history is made available to you.
- Make inputs on the employee’s employment record including ratings, testimonials or blacklist.
- Verify other credentials like guarantor information, educational credentials, home location, etc.

Background & History Check
Background and History Check is an online background and history check service for Employers with to request a report from the HomeEmployNG.com network on the Job Seeker, Candidate or Employee including but not limited to any of the following:
- Employment history, testimonials, and character references.
- Medical, Security or other reports.
- Identification information.
The Applicable fees for elements of this service are detailed below:
Note that the fees for all reports are for enquiries within Lagos State, Nigeria only. Reports that require travel or logistics outside of Lagos State will attract additional costs and clients will be advised accordingly before commencement.
Placement Fees for Employers
Placement Fee is the fee payable by the Employer when a Job Seeker Candidate is successfully employed or offered and employment engagement or contract. The Placement Fee is 10% of the first year’s annual gross salary of the respective Candidate excluding VAT. All placement fees are payable by the Employer. This fee is subject to change without notice. In the event that the Engagement or Employment is for a fixed term of less than 12 months, the Placement Fee will apply pro-rata.

Referral Program
HomeEmployNG.com offers a referral program for Agents. With the referral program, you can invite and refer friends and family to the HomeEmployNG network and earn cash rewards, passive earnings and subscription upgrades. Invite other agents or employers to join and start enjoying the benefits!
How it works
- Access your referral code and URL under the Referral Network section of your account after you sign in.
- Send your unique referral URL to a new user. Send a new referral by entering the name and email address of the person you are referring, and we’ll automatically send them an invite email with everything they need to know. You can also copy your shareable link, and share your URL via email, social media, or whatever method works for you.
- The new user signs up using your referral URL.
- The new user activates their profile and subscribes to any of our paid subscription plans.
- Refer 10 users who activate their profiles and you earn a one-off free subscription to our paid subscription plans.
- You will earn 5% of any transaction revenue we receive from any user you refer. This applies to the first subscription revenue and first billable service revenue from the user.
- You can send your referral URL to as many people as you want, and there is no limit to the amount of money you can earn.
- To begin, navigate to My Referral Network section of your account after you sign in. You will be able to access your unique referral URL, see how many referrals have been sent and accepted, access your statement to see how much you have earned, how much you have been paid and any other benefits from your referral network. For Agents, your referral network is separate from primary earnings from agency fees from employment contracts. Referral earnings are an additional earning.
